1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by CGPA IQ at cgpaiq.app (the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not access or use the Website.
2. Description of Service
CGPA IQ is an AI-assisted academic tool created by Saffron Labs that parses marksheet images and text inputs to calculate academic metrics including Grade Point Average (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). We provide tools for individual student analysis, as well as a Goal Simulator to model hypothetical future academic results.
3. User Responsibilities & Verification
Our tool relies on AI Optical Character Recognition (OCR) models to extract data from uploaded documents. AI extractions can occasionally contain errors.
⚠️ CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the extracted grades and subjects during the preview phase before saving or exporting reports. CGPA IQ is not liable for calculations based on incorrect grade extractions.
4. Premium (Pro) Subscriptions
Certain advanced capabilities (e.g. tracking grades for multiple user profiles or uploading custom syllabus lists) require a paid subscription ("Pro Tier"). Payment processing is handled by third-party billing providers. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and can be cancelled at any time through your billing settings dashboard.
5. Intellectual Property
The code, design, layout, logo, custom WebGL components, and mathematical algorithms of CGPA IQ are the exclusive property of Saffron Labs and are protected under international copyright and trademark laws.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAFFRON LABS AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE CALCULATOR, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PLACEMENT REJECTIONS, UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS DECISIONS, OR INCORRECT ACADEMIC REPORTING.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any substantial changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Website after such changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
